Billy Wilson

B. J. was raised in Maypearl and loved farming and ranching. He married the love of his life, Betty, on December 12, 1942. He enjoyed working with his cattle and doing just about anything outdoors on the farm. B. J. loved flying and retired from American Airlines in 1988 after 33 years of service as a Flight Engineer. B. J. was a WWII veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps in the Korean War. He loved being with his family and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Betty Wilson of Maypearl; his son, Mike Wilson and his wife, Jan of Kansas; his daughter, Janice Southall and her husband, Tommy of Maypearl; his brothers, Joe Wilson of Maypearl, Gary Wilson and his wife, Annette of Maypearl; his sister, Mary Sue Eubank and her husband, Eldridge of Maypearl; his grandchildren, Kim Schrock, Cristy Hutton, Cole Wilson, Matt Wilson, Jason Wilson, Justin Southall and Billy Southall; he is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 2 more great grandchildren on the way. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, Texas with Rev. Tony Sheffield officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie.
