Billy Mitchell

Billy Charles Mitchell, age 77, beloved father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2017.

A memorial will be held Friday, June 23rd, 2017, at 2:00 pm at the Comfort Suites Hotel in Waxahachie.

Billy was born in Tyler, Texas on July 28, 1939. His parents were Charlie Mitchell and Vinia Lee Mitchell. Billy has been long time resident of Waxahachie and attended Waxahachie ISD. After high school he served in the United States Navy for 4 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Vinia Lee Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan Mitchell of Waxahachie
Children, Sabrina Beth Mitchell and life partner, Deborah Martinez of Waxahachie, and Marsha Kay Sowell and husband, Jason Sowell of San Augustine; Grandchildren, Zackery Bird and wife, Megan of Waxahachie, Brian Miranda and Lauren Saldana of Waxahachie, Deaven Miranda and Joseph Clayburn of Whitney, Mackenzie Shaw of Waxahachie, and Katlan Sowell of San Augustine; Great Grandchildren, Everett Bird of Waxahachie, Brantley Clayburn of Whitney and Mason Miranda of Waxahachie; Sister, Charlene Bozorics of Italy; and several nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces
