Billy "Ted" Lynch

Billy "Ted" Lynch of Ennis, passed away Monday, July 14, 2008. He was born on June 6, 1936 in Mertens, Texas.
Ted moved to Dallas at age 15 and was a member of the Big D Jamboree. He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962 and was stationed in Germany. Music was always a part of his life and he was well known for his fiddle playing, entertaining with many country western greats and with bands in greater Dallas. He lived in the Waxahachie area since 1971. Ted owned & operated Billy Ted's Country in Ennis in the 1980's. He was a wrangler for various movies made in Ellis County including Places in the Heart. He worked with horses and mules all of his life and was a Farrier in Ellis County for over 30 years.
He is survived by his two sons, Randy Lynch and Judy of Eddy, Danny Lynch of Crowley; his daughter, Kelley Aguilar and Andy of Waxahachie; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter; 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Private interment will follow at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
