Mr. Fry passed away at his Waxahachie residence Thursday morning. He was born in Terry County, TX. to Ben and Bess (George) Fry. Mr. Fry worked for Southwestern Bell for 36 years before retiring. He never missed a day of work in those 36 years. He served his country during WWII in the U. S. Marines. He was of the Baptist faith.

Dear Paw,
You will be deeply missed especially by your grandchildren who loved the water balloon fights in the backyard. You served your country in the Marines in WWII. You were inventive and clever with a great sense of humor.

He is survived by: his wife, Billie Jean Stockard Fry; two sons, Dan Fry and his wife Elaine, David Fry and his wife Rhonda all of Waxahachie; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Fry Lamb and husband Jerry of Midlothian; one sister, Shirley Hailey of Lubbock, TX; five grandchildren, Chase and Tia Fry, Matthew Fry, Lindsey Fry, Justin Leaser and Katlyn Fry; and one great grandson, Zachery Fry. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-7 PM Sunday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 12 PM Monday, May 17, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Leroy Fenton officiating. Pallbearers will be Matthew Fry, Chase Fry, Justin Leaser, Don Potts, Jason Potts and Cody Curry. Interment will follow at 2 PM in the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Waxahachie, Texas.
