Billy Ray Butler, age 47

Mr. Butler passed away Thursday at Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie. He was born in Waxahachie to Billy Bob and Helen Frances (Partine) Butler. Billy attended schools in Waxahachie, moving to Houston in 1978. He returned to Waxahachie in 1995 and married his childhood sweetheart, Kim Crouch in 2001. Billy was proud of being an owner/operator in the trucking industry. When not on the road, Billy cherished being a family man, and being with his wife and buddies. He was a member of the South Prong Baptist Church.

Billy is survived by: his wife, Kim Butler of Waxahachie; son, Billy Ray Butler, Jr.; daughter, Bonnie Butler of Houston; Uncle Buddy and Aunt Pearl Howell of Eufalla, OK.; and his faithful companion, Lady Bug. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Sammy Joe Butler in 2002.

Family headquarters will be at 217 Monticello, Waxahachie, TX. 75165.

A Memorial Service will be 3 PM Sunday, February 27, 2005 , in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Brother James Wilcox officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
