Billy was born September 19, 1961 in Quincy Illinois. His family moved to Waxahachie, TX in 1969.He graduated Waxahachie High School in 1980. He attended The Police Academy for 2 years, and accepted his 1st job with the Red Oak Texas Police Dept. Later Billy became a deputy for Ellis County Sheriff’s Office. After a long career at Ellis County, he became a private investigator, and later moved into various rolls as a salesman, which was his trade at the time of death.

Billy played Santa clause at Patton Baptist Church in Valley Mills TX for 8 years, Billy said he always loved doing that, for him it was the best part of Christmas, passing out gifts to the kids, and handing out tote bags for the kids that came and donated to Toys for Tots. Most recently he dressed as the Grinch for the daughter of his current supervisor’s birthday Party, he sent his brother Kevin pictures, and told him what a great time he had. He had a great compassion for kids, and such a caring and loving heart. Billy was the type of man that would do anything for anybody. Billy had made the decision to be an Organ Donor, providing life for three individuals in need. What a memorable vision of the Loving, Compassionate, and Giving person that Billy was. Billy was a Christian Man, he believed in Jesus Christ, repented and put his total faith in him to save him from eternal death. He simply closed his eyes here, and opened them in his eternal home in heaven.
