Billie Wayne Shelby January 28, 1937 December 9, 2010 Bill Shelby, 73, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010. He was born January 28, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Byrd and Verna Shelby. He married Norma Dickneite July 14, 1962 also in St. Louis. He was a longtime resident of Conway, Arkansas, a devout Roman Catholic, an avid fisherman and gardener. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Norma Shelby; four children, Robbyn Baker, Kellie Juricek, Jackie Olson and Dallas Shelby; two brothers Jim Shelby and Tom Asher; three sisters, Doris Flowers, Geraldine Swinney and Terry Marple; three grandchildren, Nicki Matteson, Kenneth Spurlock and Violet Shelby; and two great grandchildren, Avery and William Matteson. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waxahachie, Texas. Inurnment will follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. A rosary prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waxahachie. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
