Bill Ballard

Bill Mack Ballard, 87 of Forreston, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Mansfield, Texas.

Bill was born on September 20, 1929 in Waxahachie, Texas to the late William M. & Ora Lee Derden Ballard. After school, Bill joined the U. S. Coast Guard from 1952 to 1958, after his service he was a longtime member of the Oak Cliff Lions Club and a member of the Texas Electronics Association for many years. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and all that knew him and loved him.

Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years Frances Ballard of Forreston, Texas; 1 Son & Daughter in Law: Stephen & Jeanne Ballard of Arlington, Texas; 1 Daughter: Brenda Gail Ballard of Forreston, Texas; 2 Sisters& Brothers in Laws: Ann & Norman Eggleston of Forreston, Texas and Fay & Mickey Ferguson of Forreston, Texas; 3 Grandchildren: Misty & Olen Watson of Joshua, Texas; Stormy & Andy Lemond of Mesquite, Texas and Mikel& Crystal Barham of Frisco, Texas & 6 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, December 09, 2016 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Shannan officiating. Interment will follow at Forreston Cemetery. Visitation with the family is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, December 09, 2016 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas.
