Beverly May

Beverly Ann May January 25, 1945 June 25, 2011 Beverly Ann May, 66, mother, grandmother (Granny), and sister, left this life Saturday, June 25, 2011. Beverly was raised in Bardwell, and graduated from Avalon in 1963. Retiring from the Walgreen's Distribution Center in 2008, she spent most of her life in Ellis County. She will be remembered for her love of all animals, in particular her fondness for horses, as well as her appreciation for "spaghetti", westerns and country/western dancing. She is survived by her two daughters, Sonja Lea Sumner and Kathryn Elayne Allen; grandchildren, Samuel David, Aaron Mark and William Harvey Sumner, Alya Noelle Horan, Tristan Kaleb May, Seth Addison Gibson, Adeline Paige, Zhane Garland and Lillian Lucille Allen; sisters, Suzanne Knapp, Janis Byars; and brother, Jim Venable; and many nieces and nephews; a full variety of in-laws and outlaws and a lifetime of close friends. Immediate family will gather to remember and celebrate her life.
