Betty Tenpenny

Betty June Tenpenny, 89 of Red Oak, Texas passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 in Red Oak. She was born to the late Tony and Ethyl Dunn Hazard on December 3, 1922 in Red Oak. Betty retired from Brazos Electric Company in Waco as a private secretary. She had lots of friends and enjoyed attending luncheons and plays. She enjoyed spending time with her family and camping at the lake. She is survived by her brother, Troy Hazard and his wife, Martha of Red Oak; her sister-in-law, Wanda Hazard of Red Oak; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tenpenny; also by her parents; and also by her 2 brothers, Gwyn and James Hazard. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Red Oak Cemetery.
