Betty Lou Phillips, 61 died at 2:32 AM, Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Betty was born February 11, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to James Hardin and Bettye Lou Campbell. She was reared by her great grandparents, Arry and William Caldwell. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Smith, Arkansas prior to moving to Texas with her family.

Betty was an pet advocate, she loved animals, especially cats. She helped rescue many over the years. She was a great listener, generous, and helped others out when she could. She loved her grandchildren so much. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her Father, James Hardin of Van Buren Arkansas, Bonus Mom, Latrelle Gordon of Fort Smith Arkansas, her three children, Katina Moore and her husband,Tony  of Waxahachie, Texas. Her daughter, Kenya Williams of Fort Smith, Arkansas; son, Keno Phillips of Waxahachie, Texas.  Brother, Tony Hardin and his wife, Christine of Denton, Texas; Sisters:  Terri Williams of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Angi Jones of Grand Prairie, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bettye Lou Campbell.

She was also survived by her grandchildren: Treston Moore, Prince Chabrele Thompson, Deja Phillips, Akeno Phillips, KeN’ya Mosley, and Trayvon Phillips. Her bonus grandchildren; Lenora, Tiffany, and Hannah William; Javan and Lealah Plummer and four great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church at 4916 High St, Fort Smith, Ark. 72904
