Betty Jean Patman of Lancaster, TX., was born September 24, 1937, in Dallas TX.
Betty decided to have her morning coffee and smoke, smoke, smoke her cigarette at the golden gate with Saint Peter on August 3, 2022. (Song she sang when going on a smoke break)
Betty was a loving Daughter, Sister, Momma, Wife, and Granny. She worked so hard that she retired twice. Betty loved sitting on her front porch, looking out over her beautiful yard watching the birds and visiting. She was a huge Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers fan. This love of sports is the reason she coached her girls in softball, and she never missed one of her boys’ football games.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Frank Patman, parents Robert Smith and Alma Poteet, her three brothers Charles, James, and Robert, son Bobby Joe and Daughter in Law Christine Raines.
Betty is survived by her brother Carl, sister Thelma, cousin\best-friend Vivian, Daughters Genia, Sunni, Franki – husband Tony Dobbs, Robin – husband Jason Wood and her son Kenny.
She left behind many loved Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, Great-great-grandchildren, Niece’s, Nephew’s and so many families and friends.
Everyone has their own special memories. She will be greatly missed.
