Betty Jean McCormick, 66 of Midlothian, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at her residence. She was born to the late Willie and Myrtle Vivian Moore Davis on April 8, 1942 in Redbud, Texas.
Betty loved to crochet and collected porcelain dolls. She enjoyed reading and watching John Wayne movies. She will be missed by so many who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her son, James T. McCormick, Jr. and his wife Robin of Midlothian; her daughter, Vivian McCormick of Midlothian; her brothers, Robert Davis, Jimmy Davis, Don Davis, and Larry Davis; her sister, Bea Vasser of Waco; her grandchildren, Matthew Brinker and his wife, Krystal of Midlothian, Vestie McCormick and his wife Alicia of Midlothian, and Savannah McCormick of Midlothian; and a great grandson, Ashton McCormick.
Services to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Wilbanks officiating. Interment will follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
