Betty Jo Loyd August 27, 1935 December 09, 2012 Betty Jo Loyd, 76 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Sunday, December 09, 2012 in Red Oak, Texas. She was born August 27, 1935 in Ellis County to Clyde & Margaret Paul Keenom. Betty was a lifelong resident of Ellis County , she worked for Baylor Hospital for 37 until her retirement, she was a longtime member of Ferris Heights United Methodist Church . Betty was a Girl Scout leader for many years and was a Mom & Grandma to many children in Waxahachie. She will be dearly missed by her family and all that knew and loved her. She is survived by 2 daughters and Sons in Laws: Tressia and Joseph Valenti of Avon Ohio and Margaret and Michael Gant of Forreston , Texas . 3 Sisters: Mary Ann & Billy Fikes of Arlington , Texas , Edna Snider of Mansfield , Texas and Margaret Lee of Alvarado , Texas . 4 Grandchildren: Joseph Valenti II, Gianna Valenti, Carlie Jo Gant-Miller and Kimen Rae Gant and 1 great Grandchild: Kylie Rae Miller. Numerous Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and Family. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Loyd and 3 brothers: Robert, Arthur and Walter Keenom. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at the Forreston Cemetery in Forreston , Texas . Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
