Betty Hill

Betty Ann Hill, 79 of Ennis, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at Ennis Regional Medical Center Hospital. She was born to the late William and Bertha Pickle Allison on January 18, 1933 in Pilot Point, Texas. Betty was an avid reader, loved taking walks and gardening. She especially enjoyed growing roses in her younger years and spending time with her family at the lake. She is survived by her sons, Dale Hill and his wife, Claudia of Ennis, Kent Hill and his wife, Ally of Red Oak; her sister, Nancy Crow of Wichita Falls; her grandchildren, Brittany and Josh Lackey, Travis Hill, Aaron Hill, Cale Hill, Hannah Hill, and Connor Portman; her great grandchildren, Grady Lackey and Harper Ann Lackey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude "C. B." Blake Hill; by her son, Mark Hill; by her sister, Joyce Brandenberry; and also by her parents. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Red Oak Cemetery with Chaplain Ted Brown officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie.
