Bessie Faye Huffstetler, 84 of Waxahachie, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009 in Waxahachie. She was born to the late Joe L. and Maggie Belt Cooper on September 28, 1924 in Ovilla.
Bessie enjoyed working the concession stand at the Little League ballpark. She enjoyed keeping children in her home for many years and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Ralston of Waxahachie; her sons, Harvey Huffstetler and his wife, Linda of Jonesboro, AR, Danny Huffstetler of Denver, CO; her sister-in-law, Pauline Odom of Red Oak; her brother-in-law, Bill Huffstetler and his wife, Louise of Ennis; she is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Todd Brown and wife, Tammy of Italy, Keith Ralston and wife, Desiree of Waxahachie, David Ralston of Waxahachie, Daniel Ralston and wife, Stephany of Rockwall, Katie Ralston of Waxahachie, Wixson Huffstetler of Jonesboro, AR, Harrison Huffstetler of Denver, CO; 1 great granddaughter, Abby Ralston of Rockwall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
