Sis Fletcher, age 92

Beatrice Sis Fletcher, age 92, passed away Tuesday at Renfro Healthcare Center. She was born in Crisp, Texas to Evan and Ellen Gertrude (Kelso) McClain. Mrs. Fletcher was a seamstress in a garment factory. She was a longtime member of the Farley Street Baptist Church.

Survivors are: sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Brenda Fletcher of Cedar Creek, and
Jimmy and Nance Fletcher of Euless; daughter, Juanita Covington of Ovilla; brother, A. G. McClain of Italy; sister, Ella Hopgood of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Sheila and Scott Strength of Waxahachie, Regina and Hershal King of Venus, Jody Fletcher of Maypearl, Stephanie Fletcher of Dallas, Robyn Fletcher of Euless and Keith Fletcher also of Euless; eight grandchildren; special friends, Dian Pope and Betty Weatherford. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Friday, February 18, 2005 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Richard Smith and Reverend David Gradburg officiating. Pallbearers will be Jody Fletcher, Keith Fletcher, Scott Strength, Mike Batson and Thomas Grimes. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
