Barnie Lucian Brown, age 84
July 6, 1922
March 18, 2007

Passed away at his Red Oak residence March 18, 2007. He was born July 6, 1922 in Loretta, TN to the late Newt and Lillian Yoacum Brown. He was in the Marines during WWII. He then moved to Dallas in 1945 and married Catherine Welch Stuck August 23, 1947. He worked as a machinist for Pollack Paper Company for twenty plus years and then worked for Commerce Grinding, before retiring.

He is survived by: his wife of 59 years, Catherine Brown of Red Oak; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Ronnie Grimsley, of Red Oak; step son Ray Steven Stuck; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be 2 PM Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at the Red Oak Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Red Oak Funeral Home.
