Barbara Jean Watson, age 84

Mrs. Watson passed away at her residence in Waxahachie, Wednesday morning.
Mrs. Watson was born in Plum Grove to Will and Liza (Henson) Bradley. She graduated from Milford High School and married Walter Lee Watson, February 18, 1940 in Forreston. Mrs. Watson had been a long time employee of Safeway Grocery in Waxahachie retiring in 1985. She was a Baptist by faith. She loved to cook and was very protective of her grandchildren. She loved her family.

She is survived by her son Walter Watson and his wife Ann, her daughter, Jean Harwell and her husband Weldon, all of Waxahachie. Grandchildren; Heath Salik of Waxahache, Kasee Salik of Ennis, Corey Watson and his wife Kelli and Trae Watson and his wife Ashley all of Waxahachie, and 9 great grandchildren. Also surviving; 2 brothers, Joe Bradley and his wife Pat of Italy, Jack Bradley and his wife Tuleda of Arlington, 1 Sister Wynell Presley and her husband Harlon of Italy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will recieve friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Friday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Forreston Cemetery with Brother Mike Bray officiating.
