Barbara Gail Tapia, age 66

Mrs. Tapia passed away at her Oak Leaf residence Tuesday morning. She was born in Greenville, Texas to Ray Cordle and Cora Mae (Harp) Anderson. She was employed as a School Guard with the Irving Police Department and Irving Independent School District.

Her survivors include: husband, Dennis Tapia of Oak Leaf; daughters, Gaylon Aucoin and husband David , Analea Lankford and fiance Greg Lewis; granddaughters, Denice Lankford and Amanda Aucoin, all of Kaufman. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Damon Ray Tapia.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 10 AM Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Red Oak Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor David Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 in the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.
