Barbara Jane Chambers, 65, of Red Oak, Texas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, December 5, 2009, with her family at her side. She was born September 5, 1944 in Dallas , Texas . She is preceded in death by her parents Cecil Edward Davis and Dovie Marie Kelso Davis, and her brother Doyle Davis. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Marshall Lee Chambers, daughters Michelle Chambers Bonner of Red Oak, Tiffany Renee' Chambers of Ft. Worth, and Marcia Jane Chambers of Red Oak and granddaughter Alexis Bonner. She is also survived by her brothers Charles Davis, Jerry Davis, Billy Davis, David Davis and sister Cindy Brogdon.



Barbara was very passionate about life. She loved being outside working in her yard. She loved her family and friends dearly. She always put others before herself. She loved animals, especially her dogs. She affectionately referred to them as "the girls".



Family will be receiving visitors at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home - Red Oak on Tuesday, December 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home - Red Oak. Howard Davis will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery.



We wish to thank everyone for their love and support. We love you Barbara (Momma and Mammie) and we will miss you dearly. You were truly one in a million. We now have a guardian angel watching over us.
