Barbara Autrey

Barbara Louise Autrey, 59 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 in Waxahachie. She was born September 29, 1952 in Waxahachie, Texas to Jake & Helen Jean Harris Martin. Barbara worked for many years for Credit Bureau Services of Waxahachie and for the Chilton Corporation of Dallas. She has always been a devoted homemaker and loved working in her yard gardening. She graduated in 1971 from Connally High School in Waco, Texas and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Waxahachie. On June 4, 1971 she married the love of her life Jerry Lee Autrey in Waxahachie, Texas where they made their home. Barbara is survived by her husband: Jerry Lee Autrey of Waxahachie, Texas; 1 Son & Daughter in Law: Clinton Lee and Amy Autrey of Italy, Texas and their 4 children: Carly, Cla, Austin and Adam. Her mother: Helen Martin of Elm Mott, Texas ; Sister: Betty Pillow and husband John of Plano, Texas; Brother and Sister in Law: Robert and Debbie Martin of Grand Prairie , Texas . Mother in Law: Helen Autrey of Waxahachie , Texas . Sister in Laws: Noreene Pierce, Nancy & Tom Bow; Peggy & Randy Wright all of Waxahachie and Betty & Lonnie Fillman of Arkansas . Numerous Nieces and Nephews and a host of friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her father: Jake Martin, Jr. and her father in law: Walter Lee Autrey and 1 brother in law: Billy Pierce. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
