Baby Phillips

Oh precious one,

I felt your presence there inside me,

Nestled soft and warm.

So perfect, so beautiful, God’s most precious form.

I saw your tiny heartbeat

And knew that you were fine,

A lovely addition to our family tree,

A perfect little vine.

Now, you’re an angel, even before you were born.

We know that you’re in Heaven, but still our hearts are torn.

We only had a few months to celebrate your precious, little life.

The wonder of what you may have been.

How we never got to hold you tight.

We never knew if you were pink or blue,

But everything we wanted was wrapped up in you.

When they told me that your heart had stopped,

I wanted to go with you.

But, I knew I had to be strong, and hold on.

For God has taken our angel to a place far beyond.

Our precious one is survived by Parents, Kevin and Haley Phillips; Brother Logan; Grandparents; Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A graveside service will be held at Waxahachie City Cemetery Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11am.
