Audrey Varner

Audrey L. Varner, 91, of Waxahachie passed away March 21, 2014, at Pleasant Manor Rehabilitation Center. She was born to the late Chalmers Jerome and Cynthia Trigg Varner in Lone Cedar. She lived in Dallas for many years, where she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper. She loved to paint. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Vernon Varner, six sisters, Dorothy Varner, Baby Girl Varner, Ruby Varner, Louetta Varner Payton, Marie Varner Threet, Blanche Varner, two nephews and one niece. She is survived by sisters, Mary Varner Bell and Romie Varner Glenn, two nephews and two nieces. Visitation will be at Wayne Boze Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, prior to the graveside service, which will be at 1 p.m. at the Italy Cemetery.
