Audrey Jane Johnston passed away at her home in Capistrano Beach, CA. on June 5, 2006.
She was born March 31, 1929 in Williamsburg, OH. Audrey was a retired school teacher of 46 years, loving mother and friend to many. She loved camping, traveling, gardening, spending time with family and friends, jet-skiing at the Colorado River and reading. With a feisty spirit and a zest for life, Audrey was always looking for new adventures.


Her survivors include: daughter, Marianne Johnston of Capistrano Beach, California; brother-in-law, Keith S. Johnson and wife, JoAnn of Forreston; and numerous nieces and nephews in California and Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Paul Martin Johnston; sister, Helen Bogart and mother, Mary Maham.

Following services in California, visitation will be held locally at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie on Monday, June 19th from 6-8 PM. Graveside services will be 10 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2006 in the Forreston Cemetery.

The family asks that donations in Audrey's memory be made to Pet Project Foundation, P. O. Box 5678, San Clemente, California, 92674.
