Arvy Dell Muirhead, lifelong Ellis County resident, passed away Sunday afternoon at 6:30. She was born to E. S. and Martha (Pritchard) Sibley September 30, 1925 in Ellis County, Texas. She was a dedicated wife and mother and an active member of Farley Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Muirhead is survived by: her husband of sixty years, Frank R. Muirhead; daughters, Phyllis Muirhead of Ft. Worth and Rae Dell Shelton and her husband, Ralph of Arlington; granddaughter, Leigh Els Wilde and her husband Justin of Atlanta, GA.; one sister, Joy Paone of Annapolis, MD.; three brothers, June Dale Sibley of Huntsville, Shirley Sibley of Ennis, and Patrick Sibley of Midlothian; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6:30-8:30 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at the Farley Street Baptist Church with Brother Richard Smith and Brother Dave Gradberg officiating. Pallbearers will be Gregg Burdette, Jimmy Sibley, Mack Sibley, Joe Stewart, Layne Taylor and Larry Wallace. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Farley Street Baptist Church Building Fund or the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.
