Arthur L. Guy III, beloved father, brother, uncle and fellow law enforcement officer, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2009 at the age of 61. Arthur was born July 30, 1947 in Port Arthur, Texas.
He achieved an undergraduate degree in Biology at Tulane University, a Masters in Bio-Chemistry at Louisiana State University, and a PhD in Bio-Physics at Florida State University. After teaching at Florida State, he enjoyed a successful career of 25 years with the FBI until retirement in 2004. He was active in the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club where he became a friend and brother to many other law enforcement officers.

Arthur was preceded in death by his mother, Bebe Guy.
He is survived by: his loving son, Lee Guy; father Arthur Lee Guy Jr.; sister Karen Guy; fiancée Janet Jones; and a host of many friends. To all of Arthur's special friends, he lived life happily one day at a time.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5 PM until service time Saturday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 6 PM Saturday, April 4, 2009 also at the funeral home with Brother Howard Davis officiating. Interment will be 2 PM Monday, April 6, 2009 in Memorial Oak Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
