Annie Dorris McMillian, age 83
April 20, 1922
October 23, 2005

Mrs. McMillian passed away early Sunday morning at Baylor Medical Center, Dallas. She was born in Dade City, FL. to T. D. and Revie (McGee) Ray. She graduated from high school and attended college in Birmingham, AL. She was employed as a purchasing agent for Morrison Knudson of Idaho until 1980. She married Robert L. McMillian March 6, 1974 in Durant, OK. Mrs. McMillian was an oil painting artist and she loved flowers. They had lived in Waxahachie for seven years, moving from Rowlett. She was of the Baptist faith.

Her survivors include: husband of 31 years, Robert L. McMillian; sons, Sam A. Jackson of Arlington, Richard Jackson and wife Sandra of Midlothian, Johnnie Jackson, Carl S. McMillian and wife Roxanne of Littleton, CO., and Charles J. McMillian of Colorado; daughter, Ann M. Husky and husband David of Littleton, CO.; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Sanford Lamar Jackson, two brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-8 PM Thursday at the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel, Hwy. 12 E., Kosciusko, MS. The Celebration of her Life will be 10 AM Friday, October 28, 2005 also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the City Cemetery, Kosciusko.
