Annette Rudolph

Annette Ackley Rudolph, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in Waxahachie. Annette was a long time and well-respected pillar of the Waxahachie community. Annette was born on May 16, 1939 to Mr. John Lea Ackley and Mrs. Louise Dunaway Ackley Barclay. After graduating Waxahachie High School, Annette continued her studies at Southern Methodist University where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

Annette was a beloved mother and grandmother. One of her favorite past times was gardening and spending time with her pets. She was active in her community and participated in numerous groups and social clubs. A few were Garden Club, Supper Club, Bridge Club, Mahjong Club.

Annette's life was guided by her faith and love in Jesus Christ that sustained her throughout her entire life. She was a long-standing member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Waxahachie for over 40 years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Rudolph and Craig Rudolph and his wife, Janet; brother, John D. Ackley; her two grandsons and three great grandchildren and numerous other friends and family members who deeply mourn her passing but grandly celebrate the life of a women well lived.

"Mother, your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of our special needs. Today and tomorrow, my whole life through. We will always love and cherish you."

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Waxahachie. Interment will follow funeral services in the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be observed on Sunday afternoon from 3-5 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ellis County SPCA, M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital or St. Paul Episcopal Church in Waxahachie.
