They were married on 11/2/62. She worked for the Amarillo Globe News, and then they moved to Arlington TX, and lived there until 1977 where they then moved to South Plains TX. She then worked at the Floydada Independent School District as a teacher’s assistant and drove a school bus for 32 years until she retired. Annelda is preceded in death by her father Harold Hamm., mother Mildred Hamm, and her husband of 55 years Howard Staples. Daughter Stacey; son Kevin and wife Nelyn and daughter Malieya.
Annelda loved her family dearly. She loved driving a school bus and treated all the children throughout the years as if they were her own. Some of her greatest joys in her life were simply being with her family spending as much time as she could with them as possible. The 2 biggest joys beyond that were her 2 beautiful granddaughters. She lived life through her Christian Faith and professed it publicly through Baptism on 11/7/2020. She absolutely loved Jesus with all her heart. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Plants and flowers are welcomed at her services.
