Anne Pope

Anne Lee (Buffington) Pope passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Harris Methodist Hospital Forth Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business Waxahachie, Texas. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in the Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Texas.

Anne Lee Pope was retired from Methodist Central Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She continued her Nursing profession many years after her retirement.

Anne Lee Pope is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bethel Buffington and Ruby Grubbs Buffington. She is also preceded in death by her sisters Bobbie Schmidt and Lavay Hamm.

Anne Lee is survived by her sons Cameron "Cam" Pope and his wife Brenda of Arlington, Texas; Jon P. Pope of Benbrook, Texas. Her grandchildren Diana Tongate and her husband Brian of Mansfield, Chelsie Bruce and her husband Trinity of Mansfield, Logan Carr of Arlington (her best buddy). Her Great Grandchild Gabrielle Cruz and her great great grandson Xavier Guajardo. She will be greatly missed by a host of friends and loved ones.
