Anna Gene Tadlock, 87, of Waxahachie passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Smyrna Cemetery in Rains County on Saturday at 3:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Matthew, Jared and Jacob Tadlock, Caleb Anderson, Chris Abel, and Dustin Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Heather Abel, Alex Barrett and Hannah Thompson.
Genie was born in Phalba, Texas to Thora Bell and Nestor Glenn. In the 40's they moved to Dallas where she met and married Albert C. Tadlock. In the 60's they moved to Fort Worth where she started a successful Childcare Business. She attended Handley Baptist Church. Upon retirement, they settled in Waxahachie and attended The Avenue Church.
Genie was a kind, loving person, strong Christian with the heart of a servant giving with her time and resources. She was a faithful friend to many and lifetime friend to Norma and Virginia. Rarely in life do we know or get to love someone so precious, who gives so easy and loves so real. She lived her life brave and courageous while forgiving all. She will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Max C. Glenn; and her husband of 55 years, Albert C. Tadlock;
She was survived by her sister-in-law Sally Tadlock Allcorn and Husband Ross; and by her and children, Roger D. Tadlock and his wife, Joy, Pamm Anderson and Mark Tadlock and his wife, Valorie; grandchildren, Matthew Tadlock and his wife, Katrina, Heather Abel and her husband, Chris, Jared Tadlock and his wife, Lisa, Caleb Anderson and his wife, Pia, Alex Barrett and her fiancé Shreesh Kulkarni, Jacob Tadlock, and Dustin, Hannah Thompson and Carl Delozier and wife Karen; great grandchildren, Benjamin Tadlock, Elizabeth and Madeline Abel, Jackson and Bryce Tadlock, and Ember and Lily Anderson and Joshua and Matthew Delozier ; plus a multitude of loved cousins, nieces, nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.
