Anna Graham Parsons, age 92

Anna Graham Armstrong Parsons, born in Waxahachie, Texas on January 29, 1913 to Jack and Emily Armstrong and had four sisters and five brothers, was the last to survive of the Armstrong family. She was married to Thomas C. Parsons in 1931 and they had three children: Jeannine Parsons Bullion; Randy Parsons (wife, Myrna); and John Parsons, (wife, Claudia).

Graham Parsons' life being filled with her family as well as her church family left little time for other pursuits. Known as a loving, caring individual she shared those traits with all with whom she came in contact.

In addition to children, she leaves five grandchildren: Tavia Carlton Oliver (Jim), Mitchell Carlton and Marshall Carlton; Matthew Parsons (Beck) and Pamela Parsons Ketelboeter (Randy), as well as eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and their families. Graham goes to live in a better place now. She left her earthly home on December 22 near the time of the celebration of the birth of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, knowing, as one of her grandson's said, that she would once again have her house filled with the fellowship of the family at this Christmas season.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Monday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 10 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the First Baptist Church, Waxahachie, with Dr. Leroy Fenton officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Burial Park.
