Anna Culp

Anna Lee Culp, 83 of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Irving. She was born on October 30, 1926 in Herrin, Illinois to Albert Posy & Era Ellen Barger Mitchell. Anna Lee was a 1944 graduate of Wilmer Hutchins High School. She married Warren Nathan Culp on May 27, 1960 and worked from 1944 to 1967 in the cashier office for Sear and Roebuck. She was a longtime member of the Odd Fellows and Rebekah's Lodge. She is survived by her Daughters: Nancy Arterbury and Husband Kenneth of Whitesboro, Texas Janice Hargrave and Husband Reginal of Oakwood, Texas and Wynell Bounds and Husband John of Caldwell, Texas; Grandchildren: Dwayne Arterbury of Whitesboro, Texas, Natalie Proffer and husband Daniel of Myra, Texas. Nickolas Hargrave of Irving, Texas, Nathaniel Hargrave of Bedford, Texas 3 Great Grandchildren: McKenna Proffer, Augustus Arterbury and Anna Proffer. Anna Lee was preceded in death by her husband: Warren Nathan "Shorty" Culp, 4 Brothers: Theodore and Ralph Mitchell both of Glendale, Illinois, Van Mitchell of Dallas, Texas and Thomas Mitchell of Reseda, California and 1 Sister: Sylvia Schuchardt of Simpson, Illinois. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, February 25, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Arterbury, Reginal Hargrave, John Bounds, Dwayne Arterbury, Nicholas Hargrave, Nathaniel Hargrave. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas.
