Anita Latorre Hinton was born on December 9th, 1963. Anita fought very hard but, unfortunately lost her battle with an extremely rare and aggressive form of Leukemia on February 26th, 2024. Anita had an impressive career in service to the Federal Government that spanned over 37 years. She spent her last 23 years of service with The United States Central Intelligence Agency where her impact was vast and will never be forgotten.
Anita was a very busy woman, having two very active kids and grandkids, too starting new programs at her job. It was well known that Anita always had something going on that required her attention. However, as stretched thin as she was, she still never failed to stay in contact with her loved ones and enjoy her hobbies. It was well known that Anitas best friends were her daughter Amanda and her mom Anin who she spoke to everyday without fail. Anyone who knew Anita knew one of her real passions was baking, and her son Alan was her favorite taste tester and would gladly eat anything his mom made for him. Anita enjoyed watching sports in the little down time she had, however we believe this was because she enjoyed the conversation with her brother Greg about the games more than anything. Her dedication to her career and the love she showed to her family and friends will be greatly missed and hard to ever match.
Anita is survived by her Mother Anin, Father, Greg, Son and Family Alan, Rachel and Eric, Daughter and Family Amanda, Jordan Jacob, and Hannah, Brother and Family Greg, Carmen, Javi, Edwardo along with her husband of 30 years Eric, and many other family and friends that love her. We all know that Anita’s message to us during all of this would be stay strong, be honest, and trust that God knows best.
