Anita Chapman

Anita Lopez Chapman, 55 of Corsicana, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 in Corsicana. She was born on August 30, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Mike Lopez and Rebecca Escobedo Lopez. She is survived by her husband, Glen Chapman; her son, Rito Gallegos, Jr.; her father and mother, Mike and Rebecca Lopez; her brothers, Mike, Joe, Rudy and Mark; her sisters, Irene Lopez, Sylvia Padilla and Sara Hill. Anita was big on family, which is where her heart was. She loved her nieces and nephews and was a big giver. She loved her jewelry bling and her son was her pride and joy. She enjoyed singing, church, cooking and baking, making crafts, sewing and party planning for her family. She loved her Lord and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from Noon until service time on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Those serving as pallbearers are her nephews, Charlie Padilla, Sammy Padilla, Greg Padilla, Justin Chambers, Stewart Chambers and Ty Chambers.
