Andrew Munoz

Andrew Alvarez Munoz, 82, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Waxahachie. He was born November 16, 1929 in Italy, Texas to Feliciano & Victoria Munoz. He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 -1952. He was a longtime member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by wife Maria Moreno Munoz ; Sons: Andrew & Lisa Munoz Jr. of Waxahachie, Texas, Steve Munoz of Waxahachie; Lewis & Carolyn Munoz of Waxahachie, David Munoz of Euless, Texas and Harvey & Bethany Munoz of Waxahachie. Daughters: Gloria and Olga Munoz of Waxahachie, Texas. Sisters: Aurora Rubio, Mary Reyes, Lupe Martinez and 1 Brother: Jesse Munoz; Grandchildren: Michelle, Magan, Andrea, Stephen, Adrienne, Jennifer, Christopher, David Munoz, Jr., Angela Munoz, Jesse Munoz, Gabrielle Munoz, John Munoz, Brooklyn Rodgers and Isaiah Zamarripa. Great Grandchild: Adrian Venegas. He was preceded in death by his parents: Feliciano & Victoria Munoz; Infant Son: Jose Munoz; Brothers: Albert, Alfred, Felix and Joe Munoz. 1 Sister: Tonya Savala. Mass of Christian Burial are scheduled for 9:00 AM Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie with Father Martin Moreno officiating. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, May 21, 2012 at the chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be David Munoz, Jr., Christopher Munoz, Stephen Munoz, Jesse Munoz, Patrick Ferguson and Michael Ferguson. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
