Andrew Griffin

Andrew Joseph Griffin, beloved husband, adoring father, precious baby brother, hilarious uncle, treasured brother-in-law and cherished friend, unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2016.
Andy was born on May 23, 1969. He had a sense of humor that defined who he was. He never met a stranger. He was such a giver of his time, his faith, his friendship and he had an incredible gift of laughter. Andy's life centered around his love for family and friends.
Andy served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Gulf War. He was an active member of The Oaks Fellowship Church in Red Oak, Texas, where he served faithfully and without hesitation in both the Children's Ministry and the Parking Lot Ministry.
He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Jadalynn Griffin, bonus children, son, T. J. Shipp and wife, Ashley; daughter, Maggie Shipp; granddaughter, Allison Shipp; his adored son, Jacob Andrew Griffin; his brothers and sisters, Karen Zuscar, David Griffin, Kathryn Griffin, Susanna Neal, Michael Griffin, Patricia Justice and Matthew Griffin; his best friend and brother-in-Christ, Ron LeBlanc, along with numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Harold Griffin and Mary Webster Griffin; three brothers-in-law, J. David Bunnell, Arthur B. Zuscar and Larry L. Neal.
Andy will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, Texas
Services to celebrate his life will be held at 10:30 a.m. June 23, 2016 at The Oaks Fellowship Church, 777 South I-35, Red Oak, Texas. Interment with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas following the service.
