Amadore Sanchez May 17, 1951 October 10, 2011 Amadore Sanchez, 60, died on October 10, 2011, at Trinity Mission Healthcare, Italy, Tx. He died peacefully, after a long battle with cancer, with family members and his hospice nurses at his bedside. He was born in Sweetwater, TX. to L.R. and Iris Belle Staggs Sanchez. Amadore lived on the Texas coast for the past 15 years and worked as a safety inspector on construction job sites. He loved the water and the coastal life, including watching sailboat races. He was also involved in chili, gumbo and brisquet cook-offs and was a huge Nascar fan. He is survived by 4 sons, Amador Sanchez, Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Virginia. Corey Sanchez and his wife, Julie, of Purdon, Tx. Jon Cody Sanchez and his wife, Christine, of Maypearl, TX and Tres Medlock, of Waxahachie, TX. Also by Judy and Joe Smithwick, who he referred to as "the mother of my children and my husband-in-law." Surviving granddaughters, Amanda Brook Sanchez, Caitlyn Nichole Sanchez, Carli and Payton Fletcher. He has one baby granddaughter that will make her arrival in the middle of December. Her name is Vivienne Stanton Sanchez. Also grandsons, Bailey and Cash Medlock and Tyler Maxwell. Surviving sisters are Bea Stiles and husband, Larry. Doris Rankin and husband, Jerry. Alicia Fry and husband, George. Janie Rando and husband, Lupe. Pauline Barrera and husband, Salvadore . Ollie Marie Sanchez, Iris Ruth (Nina) Sanchez and Kino Bastardo. Surviving brothers are Frank Sanchez and wife, Jackie. Sam Sanchez and wife, Jan. Matthew Sanchez and wife, Martha. Gus Sanchez and wife, Nadine. Gene Sanchez and wife, Concha, Ben Sanchez and wife Glenda. Ralph Sanchez and wife, Alice. Lon Sanchez and wife, Elva. Vicente Sanchez, Jerry Sanchez and Robert Sanchez. Also survived by 70 nieces and nephews and many great nieces/nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; also by his sisters Suzie Cassady, Ester Bastardo and Angie Staggs; his brothers Lawrence, John, Michael and Daniel Sanchez; and also by 9 nieces/nephews. Amadore was very Blessed to have such a large and loving family. He was also Blessed to have a special friend in his life, for the past few years, Doreen Olson-Marderness. He was loved and will be missed by many. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2010 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
