Alvis Loke

Alvis "Joe" Loke, 72 of Maypearl, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 29, 2017. He was born to the late Joseph Carl and Toleeta Alline Loke in Slaton, Texas.

Joe will be remembered for his good work ethic and willingness to always help others. He was an amazing husband, father, Pop-o and a friend to many.

He is survived by his wife, Jerri Loke; his daughters, Sherry Loke and her husband, Mark, Shelly Hynes and her husband, Kevin, Amy Stapleton and her husband, Bubba, Lindsey Underwood and her husband, Marcus; his sisters, Teresa Hendrix, Carlene Green and Jan Speed; his grandchildren, Rylee, Audrey and Kaelyn Stapleton and Layna, Bryson and Jase Underwood; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph Carl and Toleeta Alline Perdue Loke.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, with Pastor Bennie Leonard officiating.
