Alvie Lee Donahoo, age 72 passed away January 29, 2007 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. Lee was born to Alvie Lee Donahoo, Sr. and Clara Emmaline Wright at home in Hamilton, Texas on December 5, 1934.

He married Erma Ruth Curry in January 2, 1959. They were married 48 years. Lee spent many years as a wonderful husband and father to Brenda Gail Hillard and Raymond Gary Donahoo. Then on June 11, 1997, Lee was blessed with a granddaughter Morgan Lynn Thomas. She became his number one blessing surpassing his own two children. He was known across America as a handicap boy scout. He was a boy scout from a child to an adult troop leader.

His survivors include his wife Erma of Ovilla; daughter, Brenda and husband Steve Hillard of Williams, AZ., son, Raymond Donahoo of Ovilla; granddaughter Morgan Thomas of Williams, AZ.; sister Caroline Fisher and husband Otis Fisher of Jonesboro, TX. His parents, Alvie Lee and Clara Donahoo, and his brother Gilbert Donahoo preceded him in death.

Lee, Daddy, and Papa, we love you and will miss you!!

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. His services will be 11 AM Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church with interment following in the Shiloh Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Red Oak Funeral Home.
