Mrs. Christopher was born in Little Rock, Arkansas the daughter of Robert H. and Oma Y (Derden) Wright. She graduated from Forreston High School and married Arthur C. Christopher December 24, 1936 in Italy, Texas. Mrs. Christopher had been an assistant manager of Ellen's Dress Shop and Department Manager for Walmart from 1979 till her retirement in 1989. Mrs. Christopher had been a lifetime member of the Ferris Ave. Baptist Church of Waxahachie, where she had been a Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her four children; Jan S. Thompson and her husband Mark of Houston, Mike C. Christopher of Arlington, Judy A. Taylor and her husband Jeff of Waxahachie, Laurie L. Winters and her husband Jim of Richardson, Grandchildren; David Thompson and his wife Denise, Tammy Villarreal and her husband Tony, Holly Rindahl and her husband Michael, Katy Ramsey, Michelle Christopher, Glynn Christopher, Christopher Winters, great grandchildren; Robert, Patrick, Hailey, Kaitlin, Lindsey, Kelly and great great grandchild Madison. Also surviving are 2 brothers; RH Wright and his wife Betty, John E Wright, 2 sisters; Louneal Hopkins, Tommie Stripling and her husband Burke.

Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2PM Friday June 29, 2007 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor David Brown Officiating. Interment will follow at the Forreston Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be:Robert Ramsey, David Thompson, Glynn Christopher, Tony Villarreal, Michael Rindahl, and Jim Winters.

The family requests that Memorials be made to the Ferris Ave. Baptist Church.
