Alicia T. Aparicio of Waxahachie, passed away in Dallas on Monday, August 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Laredo, Texas on July 28, 1935 to the late Severino and Petra Torres.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gorgonio Aparicio; her parents, Severino and Petra Torres; also by her brother, Freddie Torres; and her sister, Janie Flores.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Aparicio and wife Joanne and Luis Arnold Aparicio; her daughters, Anna Lynn Aparicio and Johnny, Beatriz Estella Aparicio, Michelle Bravo and husband, Richard Bravo, Petra Bruner and husband, Todd Bruner; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren, whom she loved so much, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers, Henry Torres, Severino Torres, Jr, and Beto Torres; also by her sisters, Connie Torres, Minnie Perez, and Gloria Ferris.
Those serving as pallbearers include, Joey Aparicio, Jared Aparicio, Dustin Bruner, Richard G. Bravo, Jordan Bruner, and Lucas Bravo.
Those serving as honorary pallbearers include, Jacob Aparicio, CC Jones, Jr., Anthony Torres, Paul Perez, Pete Haro, Michael Haro, Johnny Torres, Martin Torres, Joseph Torres, Jesse Torres, and Chico Martinez.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Italy Epiphany Catholic Church, Italy, Texas. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, with a Rosary Prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m.
