Alice Currey

Alice Currey, age 87, of Waxahachie, passed away September 2, 2020. She was born in West, Texas on March 26, 1933.

She was married to Glendel Currey on February 2, 1949, in Dallas, Texas.  Alice worked in Accounting/Payroll for Burden Bros.  She had a passion for crafts and traveling and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by Glendel Currey- husband, Troy Kim Currey- son.

She was survived by children Glen Wayne Currey and wife Martha, Glenda Kay Blevins and Donna Fay Horton and husband Mike. Grandchildren Trey Currey, Carolyn Currey, Ben Blevins, Brandon Blevins, Lacy Blevins, Shaun Currey, Diana Currey, Caleb Currey, Ryan Blevins, Madeline Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, Max Rodriguez. Brother Wesley Irby.

A visitation will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday September 8, 2020 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.   A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery.
