Alex passed away Tuesday at Cook's Children's Hospital, Ft. Worth. He was born in Waxahachie to George and Maria (Otero) Mireles. He was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in Ennis.

Alex is survived by: his parents, George and Maria Mireles of Ennis; brother, Christian Jesus Mireles, also of Ennis; maternal grandparents, Luis and Elvira Otero of Maypearl; paternal grandparents, Anastacio and M. Socorro Mireles of Jalisco, Mexico; maternal great grandparents, Apolinar and Maria Ramirez of Maypearl; uncles, Jesus Mireles and Jose Otero of Ennis, Luis Otero of Waxahachie; aunts, Nancy Mireles and Jessica Otero of Ennis, Carmen Otero of Mansfield
and Tiffany Otero of Waxahachie; cousins, Jeffrey Hapes of Mansfield, Nevaeh Otero of Wasahachie and Edgar Mireles of Ennis. He was preceded in death by a cousin, Angelina Desity Otero.

Rosary will be at 9 AM Friday, March 5, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Mass to follow at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Maypearl Cemetery.
