Alana Barrett

Alana Dianne Barrett was bestowed her wings and taken to Jesus on the morning of October 25, 2018 in the home she shared with the love of her life Calvin Lynn Wafer. Alana was born on December 29, 1960 to Clifford Allen Barrett and Judy Kay Padgett. She retired from ACS after more than 30 years to care for her granddaughters. Alana loved projects around the house, sewing, coloring and caring for Calvin and her grandbabies as she called them.

Alana was preceded in death by her father Allen Barrett, her step father William Hargrove, her grandfather Ben Padgett, her grandmother Alberta Padgett and some friends.

She is survived by her mother Judy Hargrove, her daughter Trysta Kennedy, her love Calvin Wafer, her brother Rick Barrett, her sister Christina Harper, her brother Ben Barrett and his wife Robin. Also her grandbabies Alana Chaney, Angelica Kennedy and Aurora Kennedy along with her niece Raven Barrett, her nephew Bryce Barrett and her nephew Matthew Barrett. Also many cousins, extended family and friends.

She was to everyone she encountered a ray of sunshine and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held December 29, 2018 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel at Wayne Boze Funeral Home
