Alan Jack, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, entered eternal life on April 25, 2012. Alan attended Sunset High School in the late 1960's, then went on to work as a service technician at Kwik Wash Laundry for many years as well as other companies such as Sears and C.A. Wilson. Alan was preceded in death by his parents Darwin Jack and Bertie Maurine, and his brothers Don and Walter Sr. He is survived by his wife Nancy, brother Jerry Sr., sister-in-law Delores daughter and son-in-law Kim and Robert Kelley, son and daughter-in-law Bo and Amy, step-daughter Jessica and son-in-law Buddy, step-son David Jr. and daughter-in-law Cristy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Mandy, Christian, Jesse, Aubrey, Analisa, Joshua Dylan, Joshua Brice, and Aiden. Alan adored his grandchildren who knew him as "Big Daddy". He enjoyed watching or participating in many outdoor activities including NASCAR, drag-racing, fishing, and hunting. Alan considered himself quite the jokester and often played jokes on family and friends. A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 6th beginning at 12pm at Cedar Hill State Park. The family is asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
