Mrs. Kelley passed away early Sunday Morning at Renfro Care Center. Geneva was born in Kosse, Limestone County, Texas to Robert La Fayette and Lillian Chesney (Glover) Adams. She graduated from Kosse High School where she was Homecoming Queen. Geneva married Jackson Clay Kelley September 24, 1938, in Kosse. They lived in College Station until Jack graduated from Veterinary School at Texas A&M. They moved to Waxahachie in 1946, where they raised their four sons.

Geneva was a Charter Member of the Mothers Club, member of: The First United Methodist Church, Fidelis Sunday School class where she had been treasurer, UMW, East Texas Lakes Unit AirStream Club, and was a member of the Wild Bunch 84 club.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Dr. Jack Kelley; one son, Bill Kelley and his wife Leanne all of Waxahachie. Two sisters; Imogene Ward of Waco, Laverne Ainsworth of Baytown, six grandchildren; Chip & Ginger Kelley, Chris & Cindy Kelley, Chesney & Bob Wilson, Clint Kelley, Clay Kelley, Cassi Kelley, four great grandchildren; Mathew & Caleb Rodgers, Brady & Katie Kelley, three daughters In law; Martha Kelley, Margo Smith, and Cindy Nix and husband David. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister Loretta Bauerle, three sons, Pat, Mike and Steve Kelley.
In keeping with her kind and loving nature, Geneva willed her body to the University of Texas Southwest Medical School. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church new organ fund.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Tuesday January 25, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Richard Reed officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
