Agapito T. Borjas, SR., age 77

Agapito T. Borjas, born in Patronila, Texas to David and Francisca (Leal) Borjas, passed away Tuesday in Waxahachie, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt. in WW II. Mr. Borjas was a retired farmer and the husband of Elia (DeLeon) Borjas. He had relocated from Lubbock, Texas to Waxahachie one month ago. He was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lubbock.

His survivors are: wife, Elia D. Borjas; daughters, Carmelita Alvarado of Glenn Heights, Mellissa Borjas and Angelita Borjas both of Lubbock; sons, Agapito Borjas of Waxahachie, Rigoberto Borjas of Lubbock, Jesse Borjas of Red Oak and Danny Borjas of Lubbock; sisters, Rafiala and Emma Knear both of Corpus Christi; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-7 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7. The Celebration of his Life will be 10 AM Saturday, March 1, 2008 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Rudy DeLeon officiating. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
