Adriane Leigh Edwards

Adriane Leigh Edwards was born April 21, 1958 in Waxahachie, Texas to Aubrey D. and Lula Cook Edwards. She passed away on July 28, 2008 at 5:20 p.m. in Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas following complications of lap band surgery in October. She received a liver transplant on July 11, 2008.

Adriane graduated from Winters High School in 1976. She received outstanding student awards in band and homemaking. She was a Registered Cardiac Sonographer and Registered Vascular Specialist, employed at Baylor Family Medical Clinic in Waxahachie. She previously worked at Baylor Hospital in Waxahachie, Methodist Medical Center, and Charlton Methodist Hospital for many years.

Adriane was preceded in death by grandparents A. W. Edwards and Mildred Aston Edwards Kelley, Oscar W. and Inetha Tosh Cook; by her father, Aubrey D. Edwards, and her younger brothers, Michael and David. She is survived by her mother, Lu Edwards; her great-aunt Mrs. Betty Jane Green; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The celebration of life will be held Friday, August 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. Interment will be with the Cook family Auburn Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
